Privacy

There are no accounts here and nothing that identifies a person is collected. If this service were breached there would be nothing to take. No name, no contact details, and no record of which cars you looked at.

  • The cars you pick, the distance and the prices are handled inside this window only and are not sent to a server. Copying a comparison link puts those values into the address, and where you send that link is up to you.
  • Session storage in your browser holds only how far this visit got, so the same signal is not counted twice in one visit. It disappears when you close the tab, and it does not contain which car you picked.
  • The server counts anonymous usage only. It keeps the date, a step name such as opened the page, picked a car, saw a result, copied a link or made a first input, the page language, and a rough source label for where the visit came from. Which car you picked is not part of it.
  • The page uses fonts already on your device. No font files are fetched from anywhere. The fuel economy data ships with the page, so nothing is queried while you read it.
  • To cover running costs the page may carry a Google AdSense advert below the content. In that case Google may use cookies or advertising identifiers, under Google's own policy. The cars you pick and the numbers you type still do not reach a server.

Retention and deletion

There is no personal record on the server, so there is nothing to delete. Clearing your browser data also clears the step markers in session storage.

This site is served through Cloudflare, and Cloudflare inserts a visit tracking script into our pages on its own. We did not put it there, so the browser is told to refuse it and no such record leaves. The tag itself still arrives from the edge, and you are better off knowing that, so it is written here. No cookies are used.

이 서비스는 계정이 없고, 개인을 특정할 수 있는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 그래서 이 서비스가 털려도 가져갈 것이 없습니다. 이름도 연락처도 어떤 차를 봤는지도 우리 쪽에 없습니다.

  • 고른 차, 주행거리, 단가는 이 화면 안에서만 처리되고 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 비교 링크를 복사하면 고른 차와 넣은 값이 주소에 붙을 뿐이고, 그 링크를 어디에 보낼지는 손님이 정합니다.
  • 브라우저의 세션 저장소에 어느 단계까지 왔는지만 적어 같은 방문에서 같은 신호를 두 번 세지 않게 합니다. 탭을 닫으면 사라지고, 어떤 차를 골랐는지는 들어 있지 않습니다.
  • 서버는 익명 계측만 셉니다. 집계한 날짜, 화면을 열었는지 차를 골랐는지 결과를 봤는지 링크를 복사했는지 첫 입력이 있었는지 같은 단계 이름, 화면 언어, 어디서 들어왔는지 대략을 나타내는 유입 라벨만 남기고, 어떤 차를 골랐는지는 싣지 않습니다.
  • 화면 글꼴은 이 기기에 이미 있는 글꼴을 씁니다. 바깥에서 글꼴 파일을 받아오지 않습니다. 연비 자료도 우리 쪽 파일에 들어 있어 볼 때마다 어딘가에 물어보지 않습니다.
  • 운영비를 대려고 구글 애드센스 광고를 화면 아래에 실을 수 있습니다. 이 경우 구글이 광고를 위해 쿠키나 광고 식별자를 쓸 수 있고, 이는 구글의 정책을 따릅니다. 고른 차와 넣은 값은 여전히 서버로 가지 않습니다.

보관과 삭제

서버에 남는 개인 기록이 없으므로 지울 것도 없습니다. 브라우저 데이터를 지우면 세션 저장소의 단계 표시도 함께 사라집니다.

다만 이 사이트는 클라우드플레어를 거쳐 열리는데, 클라우드플레어가 방문 기록을 남기는 스크립트를 우리 페이지에 자동으로 끼워 넣습니다. 우리가 넣은 것이 아니라서 브라우저가 그것을 거부하도록 막아 뒀습니다. 그래서 그 기록은 나가지 않습니다. 다만 태그 자체는 앞단이 계속 넣고 있어서, 무슨 일이 있는지 알고 계시는 편이 낫다고 보아 적어 둡니다. 쿠키는 쓰지 않습니다.
